La tannerie de Barjols

December 17, 1981 Barjols was for a long time the tanning capital of the Var region, with 22 companies. Today, only one remains. It receives government aid. The workers there process cowhides, which are then sold. The Barjols tanneries have only recently resumed operations, and their technical equipment needs to be updated. The order book is not full.
