Penang Hill From Above Feels Unreal😳🇲🇾
My exhilarating journey up George Town, Penang Hill, aboard the historic funicular railway, turned into an unforgettable adventure through history, nature, and surreal landscapes above the city. ⭐ You’d also want to watch I Tried Durian in Malaysia… It Got WILD: • I Tried Durian in Malaysia… It Got WILD! 😳🇲🇾 Join me on this unforgettable Malaysia travel vlog in Penang, as I explore the cultural streets of George Town, Penang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before heading up to the famous Penang Hill (Bukit Bendera). Ascending 800 meters above sea level to witness breathtaking views, the unique experience of exploring one of Penang's iconic attractions, including a visit to The Habitat, reveals a side of Malaysia that feels both magical and completely unreal. Our journey begins at Chew Jetty, one of the historic waterfront clan jetties of George Town, where traditional wooden houses stand above the sea. Walking through this UNESCO-listed heritage area gives a glimpse into Penang’s living history, where culture, architecture, and daily life blend together over the water. From there, we explore the famous streets of Armenian Street, home to some of Penang’s most iconic street art — including the world-famous mural of the “Little Children on Bicycle”. This area captures the creative soul of George Town, with every corner filled with art, history, and local charm. Later, the adventure shifts dramatically as we board the iconic Penang Hill train (funicular railway), climbing high above the city. As the train ascends through the tropical rainforest, the view transforms completely — from urban streets to dense jungle covering the hills of Penang. At the top, we explore The Habitat Penang Hill, a stunning rainforest reserve surrounded by untouched nature. Walking along the Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk, one of the highest public viewing platforms on the island, we are treated to a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of Penang Island, stretching from the jungle canopy to the distant coastline. We also take on parts of the scenic forest trails, including sections of the Big Loop trail (5.6 km), where the atmosphere feels like stepping into another world — quiet, green, and completely disconnected from the city below. As the journey continues, we experience one of the most surreal contrasts in Malaysia travel: from bustling heritage streets in George Town to peaceful skies above the rainforest, suspended high above Penang. Finally, we return to 22 Macalisterz Apartment Hotel in central George Town, where I give a quick room tour of our high-rise apartment on the 30th floor, ending the day with city views and reflections on this incredible experience. In this George Town Penang travel vlog, you’ll experience Penang Hill, Bukit Bendera funicular train, The Habitat rainforest, Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk, Armenian Street street art, Chew Jetty, UNESCO World Heritage sites, jungle trails, and breathtaking aerial views of Penang Island. This day in Penang showed me a side of Malaysia that feels both historic and surreal — where city, culture, and rainforest all exist within one unforgettable journey above and below the island. 00:00 – Jaw-dropping Penang Hill Train Ride 05:06 – What Is Chew Jetty? 11:20 – Famous Children Bicycle Mural 12:09 – Epic Penang Aerial View 13:23 – Welcome to The Habitat 18:17 – What Is That Jungle Sound? 19:48 – Climbing to the Top of the World 21:22 – Speakers or Real Jungle Animals? 23:30 – Penang Forest Creepers 25:07 – 22 Macalisterz Apartment Tour _____________ ❤️ Please SUBSCRIBE: / @peace_travels #malaysia #penang #travel
