Bahtiyar, who changed his statement for the third time in the last month regarding Narin Güran's murder, said that the village headman, Salim Güran, threatened to kill his son. In the ongoing investigation into Narin Güran's murder, Bahtiyar stated that he couldn't remember some details from his initial statements due to the shock of the event. Giving a new statement, Bahtiyar corrected his previous statements. Thus, Bahtiyar has given three different statements in the last month. Events that occurred on the day of the incident Bahtiyar stated that on August 21st, the day the incident occurred, the village headman, Salim Güran, called him on the phone and arranged a meeting. Bahtiyar said that Güran later invited him to Arif Güran's house. Bahtiyar stated that he saw Narin Güran lying motionless in the house, and that the little girl had a foamy liquid in her mouth. “The statement I gave on September 10th is true” Bahtiyar's statement is as follows: “I want to give this statement accompanied by my lawyer appointed by the Bar Association. The statement I gave before you on September 10, 2024, is true. However, I want to clarify some points because I described them differently due to the heat of the moment and the threats from Salim Güran. As I stated before, on August 21, 2024, at approximately 3:08 PM, I called Salim Güran about the water issue. Afterwards, when Salim Güran called me to him from the hill where Arif Güran resides, I went to Salim Güran's side, that is, to the side where Arif Güran's house is located.” Allegation of Threat In his statement, Nevzat Bahtiyar claimed that the village headman, Salim Güran, said, “I killed Narin because she saw me with Yüksel.” Bahtiyar stated that Salim Güran, by making Bahtiyar, who witnessed the incident, his accomplice, threatened to kill his son: Bahtiyar recounted that Güran said, "I'll have him taken from the football school he goes to and shot in the head," and claimed that he was offered 200,000 TL to dispose of the body: "We placed Narin Güran's body in a blanket with Salim Güran.
