Hello, friends! Life in the village is never boring, and this day is a perfect example of that. It started off perfectly: we were busy with pleasant summer chores. I trimmed the linden tree—we dried its fragrant blossoms for winter tea—and twisted fresh birch branches for the sauna. Meanwhile, my wife was beautifying our alpine garden and collecting homemade thyme. And then she made a huge bowl of homemade minced meat from our broilers. The preparations are in full swing! But the village has a way of throwing surprises... Right in the middle of the day, a powerful hurricane blew up. The wind wreaked havoc: it blew apart the greenhouse and knocked down the juicy corn. We had to urgently save the vegetable garden. The next day—back to work! In the morning, we repaired the greenhouse, then I got busy trimming the grapes. In the midst of the heat, I went into town to update the first aid kit for our animals and buy protective products for the garden. And the reward for this crazy marathon was our dinner—made entirely, down to the last ingredient, from produce we grew ourselves. Enjoy!
