Tape a Teacher March 2025

The 7th-grade class hosted the "Tape a Teacher to the Wall" fundraiser to support their end-of-year field trip. They reached out to the community for support and, after speaking with a few local businesses, secured a generous sponsorship from Ranch Equip & Hardware Inc. / Ace Hardware. During the event, students purchased duct tape by the yard or the roll, to tape one of three teachers, who stood on a chair for support, securely to the wall. Once the taping was complete, the support chairs were removed, leaving the teachers and principal suspended in the air, held up entirely by the duct tape! A special thank you to the Meyer family and the team at Ranch Equip & Hardware Inc. / Ace Hardware, Mrs. Romanos, Mrs. Jarvis, and Mr. Gonzalez, our custodians, Assistant Principal Mrs. Adams, and the three fearless volunteers, Ms. Flores, Mr. Martinez, and Mr. Teneyuca, who stepped up to be taped to the wall, all in the name of fun and fundraising for the 7th-grade class.
