Lieutenant Kübra recounted not only her shift that day but also the torture inflicted on herself and her comrades after July 15. One of the notable moments of the meeting was Schennach's assessment of the hours when the coup attempt took place. After Yavuz explained that the events began in the evening, Schennach stated: “Tell me what this is for a coup. If I were going to stage a coup, I would do it early in the morning. At 3 or 4 in the morning. I would take over communications. I would shut down the internet, television, and radio.” Schennach pointed out, however, that on the night of July 15th, the internet, television, and mobile phone communications were not cut off, and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke with journalists via FaceTime.
