Arangetram Imran & Kimberly: Mallari & Allaripu

Mallari & Alarippu An invocatory item resembling a temple procession with Nadaswaram pipe players, tavil drummers and palaquin bearers taking the deity of Lord Shiva in procession. This is followed by Alarippu, a limbering sequence that involves characteristic of Bharatanatyam movements of the eyes, neck, shoulder blades, torso and feet. Both are now in Ask Dance Company (also known as ASWARA dance company) as the principal dancers. They learn Bharatanatyam under the guidance of Shri Shankar Kandasamy and Shrimathi Vasuki Sivanesan from The Temple of Fine Arts Kuala Lumpur.
