In this lesson I'll show you three quick tweaks you can apply to ANY pentatonic pattern to instantly make your playing sound cooler, more musical, and more original. The best part: none of these require learning a new shape. They're all about getting more out of the pattern you already know. I'm demonstrating everything on my favorite pentatonic shape — the Big Zig — but these ideas work on any pentatonic pattern you're comfortable with.
