Despite a relatively high budget of €500,000, there were hardly any options that met Jeannette and Harald's criteria for sailing around the world on their future catamaran. We first looked at a Nautitech 40 Open, which was a charter boat and one of the older models in the series. Next, we looked at a Lagoon 470, which was offered to us off-market. For the sake of completeness, we also saw the new Excess 11 at the BOOT show in Düsseldorf. And then we looked at a Fontaine Pajot Helia 44, which we almost bought.
