R-NineT Scrambler Ep. 3 | Making a composite Seat Plate

This is the 3. video about the construction of a BMW R-NineT Scrambler, on which I developed some production parts. In this episode I don't work with metal, but with fiber composite materials. Here you can see how I make a seat base plate for a rear frame. Since this is a series part, I make it from fiberglass which is partially reinforced with carbon. I use mainly high quality materials, which are also used in racing or aviation. It is made with the help of a mold, the construction of this I have unfortunately not filmed, but this will certainly not be my last. I hope you have fun watching.
