From 2006, he also worked as Daisuke Takahashi’s personal trainer. He later continued supporting the growth of young skaters, and now, as a trainer with the Kinoshita Group, works with athletes including RikuRyu and Kaori Sakamoto. He is known as one of the top specialists in Japanese figure skating.
