Rapier Sparring - Rafael vs Rui

More from 2026's first session this time Rui is trying out a very particular rapier from Black Fencer. Still shaking off some rust from the holiday break, it was an interesting bout between Rafael's "military" rapier from Historical Fencing Armory and Rui's nimbler transitional rapier. For those curious on Rafael's rapier, it's a sidesword blade assembled onto a cup hilt, a custom made request to Historical Fencing Armory, something we affectionately call a military rapier given it's similarities to some museum pieces.
