Kubota B2301 Bucket Load Level Indicator

Simple, cheap, easy, homemade bucket load level indicator. No drilling required. ' Kubota B2301 with LA435 Swift Tach Loader and pin on bucket. Parts 3/8" 2" long eyelet (nuts and washers), 7/16" aluminum rod, carriage bolt (nuts and washers) and female rod end with jam nut. I used a couple rod end retainer washers but those are optional. I put a cap on the rod that was floating around the shop. Start your solution with the size of the bucket carriage bolt. That will determine the ball eyelet for the rod end. Get the rod to match the female thread diameter. Rod Ends are available at automotive parts stores. Sometimes referred to as Heim Joints or Rose Joints. Thread aluminum rod to match threads on rod end. Rod end eyelet should be proper size for carriage bolt size. Kubota hardware is metric, but I used SAE. It was irrelevant for the eyelet on the loader arm. If you are concerned about the bucket carriage bolt, you probably could find metric. A little play between the bucket carriage bolt and rod end eye will not significantly impact the accuracy of the level indicator.
