Permission was granted after the barrier salute to Kafu. The ceremony now moves to the peristyle where a formal prayer, a mix of catholic and vodou rituals is offered to Bawon, after which members of the family and the congregation are invited each in his turn to perform a round of dancing in front of the vever of Bawon the patron of the Guedes The drummers are up to the task. The singing is also a delight. Thoughout this series you see one of the traditional Haitian dances being performed by the participants: the Banda.
