Habermas: Linguaggio, emancipazione e critica

As part of a seminar organized by the Italian Society of Critical Theory at the University of Rome, I gave a talk in December 2025 on the topic: "Habermas - Language, Emancipation, and Critique." On that occasion, starting from Habermas's linguistic-communicative core, I highlighted the need for Hegelian determinate negation (and thus for critical theory) to presuppose a transcendent normativity. The video is also available on the Italian Society of Critical Theory's YouTube channel (link to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/@sitc_youtube.... A few days after Habermas's passing, in March 2026, I paid tribute to his memory with a personal remembrance on the University of Venice website. For those who would like to delve deeper into Habermas's philosophy in general, I have published other videos on him: Habermas - Knowledge and Interest (1 lesson):    • Habermas   Conoscenza e interesse   Habermas - Theory of Communicative Action (2 lessons):    • Habermas   Teoria dell'agire comunicativo ...      • Habermas   Teoria dell'agire comunicativo ...
