Maehara Toshio (前原敏雄) -- Pennsylvania, USA 2015 Embu

Maehara Toshio, hachidan hanshi recently passed away. Here is some video I filmed during a trip I took to Pennsylvania, USA sometime in early 2015. -see more- Maehara-sensei's first and only trip to Canada was in May, 2015. His sense of humour was tremendous, and certainly a sense that helped foster an enjoyment for learning iaido in those that were privileged to meet and learn from him. Those who have achieved hanshi are rare individuals, and we must cherish not only them, but anyone in a position to pass on the old traditions.
