EV3 Robotics - Using the Color Sensor and Counter Variable to Follow a Line
This video is for EV3 robotics using the color sensor. We programmed the robot to follow a dark-colored line (blue/black tape) using the color sensor and detected the amount of reflected light on the surface. For the robot to be autonomously driving during their presentation we created a "Counter" variable that we used as our timer. This way we can control the time using our own code. The robot will start driving and stop driving when it reaches destinations based on the amount of time that has passed. Then students will discuss their robot/topic of choice (Social Studies - Region project, Science and Scientific Method, etc.) before the robot starts driving again!
