Anant thanks Navya for setting everything right and agreeing to come to the picnic. Anant is confident that Navya's dad will give her permission for the picnic. Navya's mother asks her husband to speak to Navya. Navya overhears the conversation. Anant's grandfather asks Anant why they should let him go on a picnic. Navya tells her mother that she wants to go to the college picnic but it's okay if she doesn't go since she doesn't do such things in general. Her mother apologises to Navya and her father overhears this conversation. Anant is silent, and does not reply to the question but when his grandfather gets up to leave, Anant stops him with a reason.
