Transformers Studio Series 117 Bumblebee Review – Bumblebee Movie Figure! Today we’re taking a look at Studio Series #117 Bumblebee from the Bumblebee Movie – and this is easily one of the best versions of Bee we’ve gotten so far! Compared to the old Target-exclusive 2-pack, this figure really shines. The head sculpt is beautifully done, with a clean paint job and a nice touch—an Autobot insignia on the top. The detail throughout the figure is solid, making it a great addition to any collection. Articulation is strong, with ball joints in the arms, legs, and feet allowing for great posing options. The transformation is fun, but I did run into some trouble with the legs—if you don’t align them just right, things won’t lock in properly. Still, once transformed, the vehicle mode looks fantastic, even if the weapon storage is a bit awkward. This Bumblebee looks amazing standing next to Studio Series Optimus Prime, and for the price, it's a great pickup.
