Nobel Prize lecture: Gary Ruvkun, Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine
Gary Ruvkun delivered his Nobel Prize lecture "A vast and ancient hidden world of microRNAs across the eukaryotes" at Aula Medica, Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm on 7 December 2024. He was introduced by Professor Anna Wedell, member of the Nobel Assembly at Karolinska Institutet. The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2024 was awarded jointly to Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun "for the discovery of microRNA and its role in post-transcriptional gene regulation".
