We went to visit Sariakandi, the most popular picnic spot in Bogra. Today's travel vlog is about our experience of traveling the main river of the Jamuna for just 30 taka and seeing the life of the char for 10 taka. This trip was originally planned to refresh my wife's mind after getting out of the monotonous routine of the family. After Friday prayers, we set out with the blessings of our parents. We chose the beautiful roads of rural Bengal to reach our destination. After reaching Kalitala Ghat, we first ate fuchka and then boarded a roofed boat for just 30 taka. Although I was filled with joy seeing the vast waters of the Jamuna, I felt a void in my heart as I did not go to the char. Later, I went to the char by boat for just 10 taka. There, I saw an incredible sight—a floating hospital, where free treatment is provided to the people of the char. Then, I heard many unknown stories about the life of the char people, raising cows and goats, and the char from a shepherd grandfather.
