In this video, we begin the process of documenting the most interesting parts of the updates that took place in GMS after the Big Bang update. This era of the game was filled with massive updates and huge content shifts. The likes of which we rarely ever saw before this. My opinion of the Big Bang update has slowly shifted over the years. Yes, it was a rough period of the game as Nexon slowly figured out what direction to head. Pay to win mechanics were abundant and homogenization was a real issue. However, with 15+ years between that time and now, nostalgia for it is ever-increasing. I thought now would be a great time to look back at it. This era will be split up into separate videos sorted by year, at which point I'll be putting them all together into one massive video containing the entirety of version 93 to version 167. This first video contains the years 2010 & 2011. A couple notes I forgot to add into the video: I mentioned Chryse being the "first" theme dungeon, but I think that title actually goes to Mushroom Shrine which was released pre-Big Bang.
