Is it Worth Reading Hard Books like Gravity's Rainbow?

Ulysses, Moby Dick, Gravity's Rainbow...these books all hold a special place in the history of literature, but on top of being considered some of the greatest books ever written, they also are notoriously challenging to read. Today we sit down to chat about challenging books, are they worth reading, what their appeal is, and what (if anything) people are missing out on by not reading them.
