Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io. The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes? Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. In "Too Slow" and "You Can't Run", he is voiced by MarStarBro, the composer for the songs, while in "Triple Trouble" and his speaking voice during game over screens is voiced by KGBepis. In "God Feast" he is voiced by DastardlyDeacon, the creator of Friday Night Funkin' D-Sides. Vs. Sonic.Exe was a mod created by RightBurst_Ultra and directed by Saster and CommandoDev. The main opponent of the mod is the titular character from the Sonic.Exe series, but it also features many other horror-oriented characters from other official and fan-made Sonic media, including Sonic (PC PORT), Sonic CD, Sunky, Sonic R, Sonic Shorts, and Sonic the Comic. X, better known as Sonic.exe, is the titular main antagonist of JoeDoughBoi's 2023 remake of the original Sonic.exe game, now known as SONIC 2011. This game has the intent of being as accurate as possible to the original story, but this does not mean both incarnations of X are the same character. He is voiced by DylanZeMuffin who also voiced Armadonix.
