Cockpit Flying: Sitting in the actual cockpit, flight cadets have to follow the instructor commands. By this time cadets are aware of every switch and controls in the cockpit. Taxi Run: This is the biggest pre-flying test where cadets have to perform a taxi run. This exercise is monitored very strictly to see if the cadets can perform the taxi run in a straight line following the yellow strip. This is much difficult than driving a car. If the performance is not satisfactory, cadets have to start again from chair flying.
