I never imagined exploring Ratnagiri in such a wild way—covering 9 points in just 2 days. It turned out to be an unforgettable journey, riding through one of the most dangerous Ghats during the monsoon, surrounded by serene landscapes, misty curves, and endless turns of the Varandha Ghat. Varandha Ghat, a scenic mountain pass in the Western Ghats of Maharashtra, connects the Konkan region with the mainland via the historic Mahad–Bhor trade route. Known for its breathtaking waterfalls, lakes, and dense forests, it’s a favorite for road trippers, especially during monsoons, though its narrow single-lane road and frequent monkey encounters make it equally thrilling and risky. Crossing the Ghat, we found ourselves on the other side of the mountains, gazing at clouds floating beneath us—a truly magical sight.
