Hand hygiene 1 - Turn on the tap and wet your hands, avoiding touching the sink. 2 - Apply enough liquid soap to the palm of your hand to cover all surfaces of your hands (follow the quantity recommended by the manufacturer). 3 - Lather your palms, rubbing them together. 4 - Rub the palm of your right hand against the back of your left hand (and vice versa) by interlacing your fingers. 5 - Interlace your fingers and rub the spaces between your fingers. 6 - Rub the back of the fingers of one hand with the palm of the opposite hand (and vice versa), holding the fingers in a back-and-forth motion. 7 - Rub your right thumb with the palm of your left hand (and vice versa) using a circular motion. 8 - Rub the fingertips and nails of your left hand against the palm of your right hand, cupped in a cup (and vice versa), using a circular motion. 9 - Rub your left wrist with the palm of your right hand (and vice versa), using a circular motion. 10 - Rinse your hands, removing any soap residue. Avoid direct contact of soapy hands with the faucet. 11 - Dry your hands with disposable paper towels, starting with your hands and then moving down to your wrists. Avoid direct contact with Soapy hands with the tap. 11 - Dry your hands with disposable paper towels, starting with the hands and following by the fists.
