Please like this recipe if you enjoyed it and subscribe for more snack recipes 😃 Have a nice day, ——————————————————————————— Caramelized Apple Cake —————————————————————————— 28cm diameter pan (if your pan is narrower, add 5-10 minutes of baking time) INGREDIENTS: For the cake batter: 3-4 apples 2 eggs 90g sugar 1 sachet vanilla sugar 170ml milk 60ml sunflower oil (or other) 200g flour 1 sachet baking powder For the caramel: 130g sugar 40g of water (or 4 tbsp) RECIPE: Butter a baking pan and line it with baking paper. Peel the apples and cut them into thin slices. In a saucepan, pour the sugar and water. Heat over low heat (caramelization takes 5-10 minutes). As soon as it reaches an amber/caramel color, remove from the heat (do not over-caramelize, or it will be bitter). Immediately pour the caramel into the pan. Quickly spread the caramel by tilting the pan from side to side. As soon as the caramel has set, arrange the apples in a rosette on the cake. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar, mix for 30 seconds. Add the milk and oil, mix until smooth. Add the sifted flour and baking powder, mix until smooth. Pour the mixture into the pan. In the pan, on top of the apples. Bake at 175°C for 35-40 minutes. Check for doneness with a knife (if the knife is full of batter, bake for 5 minutes longer). Quickly loosen the edges with a knife. Immediately unmold the cake onto the serving plate (do not let it cool before unmolding; be careful, it's hot). Carefully remove the baking paper.
