ACROPOLIS OF PERGAMON & URLA, TURKEY

The Acropolis of Pergamon is an Ancient Greek city located about an hour and a half North of Izmir. Once, a rich and powerful ancient city in Mysia, Pergamon Acropolis is now well preserved ruins and one of the best day trips from Izmir. Joe and I rented a car to explore Pergamon on our own and after spending the morning at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, we drove to the coastal town of Urla, Turkey for dinner.
