Autism and Echolalia, Palilalia, and verbal stimming
It is autism awareness month. And I’ve decided that once every week this month, I’d post a video talking subjects related to autism. And this topic is about Echolalia, Palilalia, and verbal stimming. NEVER, AND I REPEAT. NEVER GIVE AN INDIVIDUAL WITH AUTISM A HARD TIME FOR THIS! It can have some serious consequences if you do. The only time anybody says something to me is if we’re in public, and I might hear someone say something that I think might be funny, and I attempt to repeat it. Because they don’t want them thinking I’m mocking them, even though I’m not mocking them. Now that’s something I can overlook, because they’re just looking out for me, they know I don’t mean to exactly make fun of them, and they’re not being a jerk about it.
