A drama coach who poured her gifts into the next generation. A costume designer. A director. A writer. A grandmother. A great-grandmother. A woman who was still performing at nearly 80 years old because the stage was simply where she belonged. She performed before the Queen of Siam. She was interviewed by a Spanish newspaper in Barcelona in 1963. She was proclaimed the most popular artist in Bermuda in 1961. She appeared on American television. She was featured in Jet magazine and the Cleveland Call and Post. She headlined clubs that became legendary. She taught other performers what she knew and never stopped learning herself. She was also someone's aunt. Someone's grandmother. Someone's great-grandmother. Someone's family.
