In today's practice we'll explore breathwork, spinal mobility, meridian activation, gentle balance training, emotional regulation, and energy cultivation through a series of traditional Qigong exercises designed to help you feel more relaxed, more grounded, and more alive. We begin by building a healthy relationship with gravity. Feet rooted into the earth. Crown lifting toward the sky. Belly soft. Breath slow. From there we explore several foundational breathing practices including: ✔ Abdominal Breathing ✔ Wave Breathing ✔ Full Body Breathing ✔ Sipping Breath from Iron Shirt Qigong Each breathing method creates a different effect on the nervous system. Some help calm and center the mind. Others help energize the body and increase vitality. Understanding how to work with different breathing patterns is one of the fastest ways to influence your mental, emotional, and physical state. Throughout this session we move through a variety of Qigong exercises including: • Buddha Holds Up the Heavens • Separating Heaven and Earth • Pulling Up the Earth • Knocking on the Door of Life • Water Waves • Spinal Cord Breathing • Dog Wags Its Tail • Move Your Body Like a River • Body Flow • Tai Chi Knee Lifts • Tai Chi Kicks and Punches • Chest Tapping for Emotional Balance • Lung Meridian Activation • Qigong Shaking • Opening the Flow • White Crane Soars • Great Bear Swims in the Sea • Pulling Down the Heavens • Bamboo in the Wind These practices help improve: ✔ Mobility ✔ Flexibility ✔ Balance ✔ Coordination ✔ Posture ✔ Breathing Capacity ✔ Circulation ✔ Emotional Regulation ✔ Nervous System Function ✔ Body Awareness ✔ Energy Cultivation Many of the movements focus on the spine because the spine is the central highway of the nervous system. When the spine becomes more mobile, breathing improves. When breathing improves, circulation improves. When circulation improves, energy moves more freely throughout the body. We also spend time stimulating important acupressure points and meridians associated with the lungs, heart, kidneys, immune system, and emotional health. The tapping exercises help wake up dormant energy. The shaking exercises help release tension. The stretching exercises help open the channels. The breathing exercises help settle and direct the energy. And the flowing movements help integrate everything into a single experience. One of the themes of this practice is learning when to activate and when to relax. One breath energizes. Another breath calms. One movement awakens. Another movement settles. This balance between effort and ease is one of the foundations of Qigong. Many students notice that after practices like this they feel: • More relaxed • More focused • More grounded • Less anxious • More emotionally balanced • More connected to their bodies • More energized without feeling overstimulated For more START YOUR FREE TRIAL AT https://www.skool.com/qivida/about Qigong is often called a moving meditation because it trains awareness while improving strength, mobility, circulation, and breath. The goal isn't to force energy. The goal is to create the conditions where energy can move naturally. Move slowly. Breathe deeply. Relax what doesn't need to work. Pay attention to what changes. If you enjoy this practice, leave a comment below: What movement felt best today? Did you notice a difference between the abdominal breathing and the invigorating breathing?
