It went wrong but here’s how to fix a watercolour painting!

Sometimes in life things go wrong, same in our #watercolor paintings the question is what do we do?? Thought I’d tackled this subject in my last video as I addressed mistakes in paintings! Well it wasn’t my audio failing this time! This time I came across big problems with my paper, maybe due to the storage within the conservatory where it has been subjected to plenty of light and for those who have conservatories know it can get extremely warm from the windows which has probably damaged the surface of the paper in particular the sizing! The nightmare continues as this happened during the livestream, so what do I do? Well I carry on and see if I can still make a painting lol 😝 I’m using 140lb cold pressed paper and my m.grahams pigments and I start the painting with my small hake brush for the sky area and that’s when I noticed that the pigments weren’t behaving as they should!! Didn’t get the results that I was hoping for but I’d love to hear your feedback and thoughts about this one! Comments please 🙏
