SD-302 to Zoom H4n for Great Filmmaking Audio
This is all about using line feed to get around low quality mic pre-amps in recorders and cameras. Why would you knock down a pristine line feed from a $1,300 SD-302, which has world class magnetic pre-amps, and start over using mic pre-amps in a $300 recorder? Always use a line input into a recorder or camera when you have good front end equipment. Note: My voice got really hoarse, there is no distortion at all, it just kind of sounds that way because I could not speak well.
