Internal Void (US) Demo # 1. SMOKESTACK. 1988 (Very rare 1st demo by these Maryland Doom legends !)

Massive Saint Vitus-meets-Hellhammer guitar tone here, it's pretty uncanny really. Musically, it sounds more like Vitus/early The Obsessed than Hellhammer-Celtic Frost, but you can defo hear that Tom G.Warrior & Co had an influence on these Maryland lads. So this is there very rare 1st demo tape from 1988. They released 3 albums in total bewteen 1992 & 2004, along with a handful of demos (Their 1991 demo VOYAGE even getting a vinyl reissue in 2012). I was lucky enough to see them live twice in 2000 in the US & they crushed all who were present both times. Drummer Ronny Kalimon & Guitarist Kelly Carmichael are both incredible musicians too & were an utter delight to see performing. 5 tracks in 21 minutes including their 1st version of "The Entrance" which they re-recorded in 1991 for their "Voyage" demo.
