Fabric painting on Silk Kota saree @KritiByPreethi

This painting is done on a Silk kota fabric using Camel Fabrica Acrylic paint. You can use any locally available fabric acrylic paint. Same technique can be used to paint on other fabrics like cotton, linen, silk cotton, organza etc. Fabric is fixed onto backside of an old canvas board(17x14 inch) with pins taking care not to damage the fabric. You can use a medium to large size round frame also. Colors used White Gold Golden yellow Scarlet lake Crimson Turquoise blue Black Synthetic brushes No 10 flat No 6 filbert No 0 round Iron on opposite side after 24 hours and wash only after one week to fix colors. Hand painted fabric care - Dry clean or handwash with mild soap / detergent. Do not soak in water for long.  Do not scrub on painted surface while washing. Dry in shade. Always iron on opposite side.
