Ocotillo Wells - Flight School 4

Take a look at our home town desert in all it's glory, Ocotillo Wells SVRA has over 85,000 acres of playground for the public to enjoy. We braved high temperatures in early October, but were able to shoot some epic footage nonetheless. I feel like we really did this one right, everything came together to show case my favorite playground that is Ocotillo Wells. We started this journey exploring concepts behind how we could shoot prerunner content in a completely innovative light. We felt that prerunner content was universally depicted in the same manner on all media platforms and we were determined to create something more engaging and cinematic. After over a year of brainstorming “Flight School” was born. The goal of this project is to make prerunner media more captivating, informational, and epic. We wanted something that everyone can relate to, even if they aren’t heavy into offroad, something that speaks for itself. We hope we have captured the essence of this vision in this first episode and will continue to grow as we air future episodes. We love this sport and will strive to take it to new heights over the coming seasons.
