What began as virtual gatherings to study and translate The Gospel of Hip Hop evolved into an international collaboration rooted in conscious Hip Hop, traditional Colombian gaita music, community work, and ancestral knowledge. This first chapter explores the concept of manifestation: how ideas become reality through vision, discipline, collective effort, and trust in the process. Through interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, performances, and images from the territories where both collectives carry out their work, Manifest documents the beginning of a journey that is still unfolding. One phrase became the unofficial motto of the project: "Building the plane while flying it." The artists are creating the music, documentary, artwork, and cultural exchange simultaneously, without fully knowing what the final destination will look like. RISE NOW is a conversation about identity, community, consciousness, and building cultural bridges between the North and South of Abya Yala and Turtle Island. Lo que comenzó como encuentros virtuales para estudiar y traducir The Gospel of Hip Hop evolucionó en una colaboración internacional basada en el Hip Hop consciente, la música tradicional de gaita, el trabajo comunitario y los conocimientos ancestrales. Esta primera parte explora el concepto de la manifestación: cómo una idea se transforma en realidad a través de la visión, la disciplina, el trabajo colectivo y la confianza en el proceso. A través de entrevistas, imágenes detrás de cámaras, presentaciones y registros de los territorios donde ambos colectivos desarrollan su labor, Manifest documenta el inicio de un viaje que todavía se está construyendo. Una frase terminó convirtiéndose en el lema no oficial del proyecto: "Construyendo el avión mientras lo volamos." La música, el documental, el arte visual y el intercambio cultural se están creando al mismo tiempo, sin saber exactamente cuál será el resultado final.
