Day 6 🇸🇮: From Vineyards 🍷 to the Adriatic Coast 🌊

Another day, another unforgettable adventure through beautiful Slovenia! 🇸🇮 In this episode, the journey continues through the breathtaking Goriška Brda region before heading to the stunning Adriatic coast. The day begins with a visit to Razgledni stolp Gonjače, where panoramic views of rolling vineyards, the Julian Alps, and even neighboring Italy make every step to the top worthwhile. Next, I wander through the charming medieval village of Šmartno, one of Slovenia's best-preserved historic villages. Walking along its narrow stone streets feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by centuries-old architecture and the peaceful atmosphere of the Brda wine region. Before leaving Brda behind, there's one final hidden gem to explore—Krčnik, a beautiful natural stone bridge carved by nature over thousands of years. Tucked away in a quiet forest, it's one of those places that truly feels untouched. With unforgettable memories from Brda, the road leads to the Adriatic coast and the beautiful seaside town of Piran. But first… an ice cream break! 🍦 From enjoying coastal views to wandering through the narrow streets, colorful buildings, and lively squares of Piran, every corner offers something special. The relaxed atmosphere, historic architecture, and beautiful sea views make it one of Slovenia's most charming destinations. As the sun begins to set, it's time to say goodbye to Piran and continue the road trip towards Postojna, where I check into my Airbnb and prepare for another exciting day of exploring.
