#Непровинция: Рязань. Тревел-шоу о людях с Александром Цыпкиным
Ice, graffiti, and a restaurant: three human stories. This trip to Ryazan was my first, despite touring Russia as part of the literary and theatrical project "Unprincipled Readings." And, frankly, I was pleasantly surprised by the city and its people. The first guest in this issue is second-generation restaurateur Anna Volodina. Together with her parents, she runs the restaurant "Roman Holidays," which has undergone three rebrandings in its 17 years of existence. The family also owns its own production facility and a chain of pastry shops. Continuing the family tradition, Anna and her husband opened Cafe Locals. Incidentally, she spent six years in London, where she received a university degree, but in 2020 decided to return to Russia and continue the family business. The second guest is artist Alexander Demin. He began his career at the age of 14: he painted for friends, and with the proceeds from the portraits, he bought spray cans and went out onto the streets to create graffiti. Over time, Alexander earned a higher education in art and became prominent both in the graffiti community and among clients. One of his works was highly praised and sold for over a million rubles. Thus, he matured as a creative force before he even turned 30. There's much to learn! The third hero was another "returnee," who, after working in Montenegro, decided to open his own business in Yaroslavl—the company "Gololed." He produces ice in various shapes for catering establishments. He also owns his own bar—an excellent example of product placement for his product. His starting capital was 1.5 million rubles, and today it's one of the leading businesses in the city. Even though it seemed like I'd seen the entire country during my tours, I only truly got to know it while filming "#NonProvince." It's a fantastic project in terms of inspiration and motivation. This is a true encyclopedia of people who create, inspire, and move us forward in their cities. I met fascinating, extraordinary residents of non-capital cities, and for the first time, I believed that everything would be fine. My deepest gratitude goes to IRI for their effective and prompt financial support of this and dozens of other projects. Today, IRI is driving the development of the creative industry on the RuNet. Thank you to OKKO for allowing us to make episodes publicly available after screening them. Production – Agenda Media Group Meet Russia!
