I had the honor of seeing off the transport ship Kunisaki as it headed to the Hanshin Base for public relations, along with Tehata-san. To put it in modern terms, Tehata-san and the transport ship Kunisaki are "best friends forever." After seeing off the Kunisaki during its recent public relations visit to Takamatsu and its departure from Takamatsu, we saw it off again at the Kurushima Strait, making this another wonderful send-off.
