The Finals Light Scrim Coaching (unedited)

Coaching reneten1's light gameplay in scrims. Here's the notes I left them by the end of the session: Sidenotes If we are sticking with a double heavy comp I recommend HHM or to swap to HML. Medium's high uptime on heals, pads, and spacing they can play near a heavy allows for more options. It's difficult for a light to play properly with HHL. If sticking with double heavy I recommend heal ball so heavies can more comfortably challenge range. There is also usually a frontline heavy and a backline heavy, with the frontline being supported by a medium/light and backline choosing whatever they find more valuable. Light can also flank as long as they are getting enough pressure and get to teammates in time to support and cleanup. Summary You're running HHL. This will work in ranked but less likely in comp. As a light your job is to challenge range, glitch and setup for your team to int, and play support (glitch to return pressure, heal to prevent a death, then clean up) Be ready to insta glitch point when they hop on (bubbles can block explosives below when playing for drop Glitch then heal when playing support When there is any dangerous attention on you, dash to make yourself significantly harder to kill. Dash predictively ADS instead of hipfiring majority of time, unless you are facechecking them In general, need to be aggressive on taking space from the light. This means hitting better shots and getting the first shot as well. Your job is to get more value than the other light
