Special day. Enough swell to make it interesting and exposed off the headland. Watched over by toulinguet lighthouse and the coastguard watch centre. Finished at a beautiful campsite. I must comment on the name. The most convincing theory has it as a mishearing on the part of early map makers. The words for weights and peas sound the same in French and the islands do look a bit like a pile of old weights on a scale
