J.Caven - One Day (acoustic Gary Moore cover with Heikki Silvennoinen's guitar)

When I had the privilege to borrow late great Heikki Silvennoinen's acoustic guitar, I wondered what to play with it. Heikki was a blues guy, me not so much. But there was a certain "bridge" between blues and hard rock / heavy metal, called Gary Moore. And a true Gibson legend. Being almost same age, I don't think Gary was a great influence to Heikki. They had common heroes instead. Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Peter Green... But I hear some similarities and with his Thin Lizzy background and all, Gary has my great respect. This is a song from him, I've played live a few times. An awesome bluesy piece that wasn't the easiest guitar arrangement (and surely not a perfect take), but that's just the thing that makes me enjoy the song. Hopefully someone else does too.
