In recent times India has started cultivating a nutritious vegetarian delicacy, Mushroom, which is rich in protein, vitamins, minerals, folic acid, and iron. As the much-in-demand vegetable can be grown at a temperature between 20 and 30 degrees Celsius and required relative humidity of 55-75 percent, Kashmir is a suitable place for mushroom cultivation and processing.
