December 8 can’t come sooner. After not having the best of luck on trying for the R62 {6} Express to Brooklyn Bridge, an opening presented itself to the end of an era. This was quite the eventful ride, not only did we see the R160 (Q) Train, but we also averted disaster in Queens. The (F) Train that was in service behind me had its breaks activated by Woodhaven Blvd, causing delays and causing some trains behind me to be sent local. As this all happened behind me, we were able to go on cruise control towards 179. I have also ultimately decided that if I can manage to complete everything that I need to do pre-swap, I am going to do one more pair of R179 (M) Train roundtrips via 53, both reverse peak and peak direction local. So yeah, join me as we take one final (F) Train ride to 179 via 63 St.
