In this video, we look at the government in the early years of Henry VIII's reign. Thomas Wolsey was the man who presided over this government and he introduced both legal and financial reforms. Some of these reforms such as the Court of Chancery were considered successfully whereas others like the Amicable Grant in 1525 can be considered a major failure.
