Honda Accord AC Condenser Replacement (2013–2017) | No Bumper Removal + Recharge

In this video, I replace the AC condenser on a 9th generation Honda Accord (2013–2017) using an alternate method that does NOT require removing the front bumper. Honda’s service procedure calls for bumper removal, but this approach allows the condenser to be removed from the back, saving time and avoiding unnecessary disassembly — no coolant drain required. What’s covered in this video: *How to remove the AC condenser without pulling the bumper *Disconnecting AC refrigerant lines safely *Removing condenser brackets and hardware *Installing a new condenser and transferring grommets *Replacing AC line O-rings (important!) *Pulling a deep vacuum and leak checking *Adding compressor oil after condenser replacement *Recharging the system by weight *Final vent temperature results This Accord had 230,000 miles, and the original condenser had failed and would not hold pressure. The replacement condenser shown is an aftermarket unit sourced from RockAuto due to OEM backorder. Important notes: *If your AC system is still pressurized, have it professionally evacuated before starting *Proper tools and basic mechanical experience are required *Manifold gauges and a vacuum pump were rented from AutoZone *Refrigerant charge target for this system is 15.0–16.8 oz *If you’re dealing with warm air, a leaking condenser, or front-end AC damage on your Accord, this video walks through the full repair from removal to cold air again. Leave a comment if you have questions about the process, tools, or parts used.
