Massive lows dominate the forecast, winds shift constantly, and almost immediately we discovered our catamaran’s escape hatches are leaking badly. Before departure, we finished key boat projects, including re-lacing our catamaran trampolines with Dyneema from ‪@sunriseyachtproducts‬ . Then we set sail into one of the most notorious stretches of bluewater, navigating between weather systems while managing repairs at sea.
