Late Brake Show Audi RS2: Will It Finally Start?

The new fuel pump and other parts have arrived for the Jonny Smith's Late Brake Show, abandoned Audi RS2! We get to work to see if we can finally get this unloved, but super-rare Audi started! The RS2 was the first RS Audi ever made and the car that started the super-estate craze that continues today. Based on the Audi 80 Avant, the RS2 is packing 315bhp from the 2.2-litre, 5-cylinder turbo engine, that was heavily worked on by Porsche. The car was built at the Porsche Rossle-Bau plant, where the iconic 959 was also produced. Porsche parts included the brakes, wheels, door mirrors and Porsche designed suspension. Back in 1995, this thing was an absolute weapon of a car, capable of 0-62mph in 4.8secs and a top speed in excess of 160mph. Just 2891 RS2s were produced, with only 180 in right hand drive guise, making them very rare today.
